Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress who works in film and TV is best known for films like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the sole child of Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu. Alexandra began her professional career in showbiz early. Her roles included lead characters in dramas on television as young at the age of 16. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, from Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film) was both critically and commercially acclaimed. Additional Oscar nominated movies featuring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Over the years Alexandra was involved in numerous important international and national productions.
